SC5 Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues and the broader school community to support student learning, agency, wellbeing and engagement.

**Role**:

- Classroom Teacher: P-12 (Primary and Secondary) with experience to design and deliver Science and or integrated STEM curriculum
- Experience in imagining, designing and develop digital technology programs
- Range of experience in developing and delivery Applied education (Certificate 4 preferred)
- Facilitate Professional development in Digital technology and Program Design
- Experience in developing and managing online LMS systems

**Responsibilities**:
The role of classroom teacher may include but is not limited to:

- Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students;
- Contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or other curriculum program within the school;
- Undertaking other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as determined by the School Principal;
- Participating in activities such as parent/teacher meetings; staff meetings; camps and excursions;
- Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.

Teachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach and/or have demonstrated experience in the curriculum area(s) specified for the position.

**VIT LANTITE**:
To be eligible for employment, transfer or promotion in the principal or teacher class a person must have provisional or full registration from the Victorian Institute of Teaching. In addition, from 3 August 2020, to be eligible for employment in the principal class or teacher class, a person who graduated from a Victorian Initial Teacher Education program after 1 July 2016, must demonstrate that they have passed the literacy and numeracy test for initial teacher education (LANTITE) requirements. This condition is satisfied where the LANTITE requirement is part of the Victorian Initial Teacher Education program completed by the person.

A person is not eligible for employment in the Teaching Service unless that person meets the vaccination requirements on commencement in the position.

Opening in 2011 Earth Ed is one of three new Specialist STEM Centres in Victoria.
The Earth Ed building is a state of the art teaching facility that incorporates leading energy conservation principles and sustainable construction materials and processes.
Located at Mount Clear College, which is situated in an attractive bush setting six kilometres from the centre of Ballarat, Earth Ed provides programs for visiting students from across the state.
Earth Ed programs are centred on the twin themes of the Earth's resources and energy, with special emphasis on the sustainable usage of resources and renewable energy.
The Centre provides intensive day programs for students, professional development activities for teachers and is a hub for science education in the state. The development and provision of online curriculum materials, video conferencing and outreach programs is seen as an essential task of the Centre.
