**About You/ Role**

Are you a superstar in data analysis and data science, with exceptional people management skills? If so, we want you We're looking for a Manager, Lead Data Analyst to join our team and lead our data team to new heights.

In this role, you'll use your technical expertise in data analytics and data science to manage projects, drive delivery, and solve problems. Your outstanding communication skills will enable you to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels, while your project management skills will ensure that our data initiatives are delivered on time and to the highest standards.

**Skills and Experience**
- Experience managing a team of staff, including work allocation, capability development, and performance management ensuring high levels of team engagement and motivation
- Ability to provide data evidenced insights and recommendations to other teams within corporate services to inform service improvement & redesign initiatives
- Ability to lead data-related initiatives & projects (analyses, tools, and visualisations) to optimise the user journey across services & channels

**Essential requirements of the role**
- Tertiary qualifications in information management or related and/or equivalent demonstrated experience.

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
