**Our Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our Engineering & Innovation business. Located in Narellan and reporting to the General Manager, some of the responsibilities include however are not limited to:

- Develop & implement strategic procurement plans to ensure cost-effective and efficient procurement of materials and supplies.
- Negotiating key item pricing & deliveries for both local and overseas suppliers.
- Price tracking of purchased materials to ensure any price changes are justified and are in line with market movements/indices.
- Undertake and coordinate project purchasing at best possible pricing, per specified scope of work.
- Ensure effective consultation between relevant parties on the project deliverables.
- Maintain and resolve supplier invoices.
- Implement inventory control procedures to provide traceability and to minimize inventory holding costs.
- Manage the businesses logistics requirements.
- Lead a small team consisting of Storeperson and Forklift drivers

**The Person**

To be considered for this role you will have:

- Bachelor’s Degree in business-related field Business (Management, Contract Management or Procurement or Engineering) preferred but not essential.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Procurement in a manufacturing environment.
- High attention to detail and strong numeracy skills.
- Team player with strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Current forklift licence.
