**The Role**

We’re on the lookout for **2UP MC DRIVERS** to become part of our team Hit the road with us starting from Adelaide and journeying all the way to Darwin, transporting freight safely and efficiently across the central states. Enjoy highly competitive rates and an extensive list of allowances while working for one of the biggest privately owned Transport companies If you hold a current MC Driver’s licence and have 2+ years of triple road train experience, keep reading

**Key Responsibilities**
- Navigate long-distance routes, ensuring efficient and safe operation of the road trains through varying terrains and weather conditions
- Ensure all freight is transported safely and on time - monitor cargo loads, perform pre-trip inspections and manage schedules to meet delivery deadlines while keeping freight secure and undamaged
- Stay informed on relevant laws, including weight limits, route restrictions and compliance with local regulations to uphold operational integrity
- Share driving responsibilities with your partner, communicate effectively about road conditions and fatigue levels and provide support during rest breaks to ensure consistent performance
- Perform routine checks on the truck’s mechanical and safety features including brakes, lights and tyres, reporting any issues promptly
- Accurately complete and maintain all required paperwork such as delivery receipts, logbooks and compliance reports to ensure accountability and traceability

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**About You**
- **Previous 2UP Driver Team Experience**: Proven ability to work effectively in a team ensuring smooth communication and coordination while on the road
- **Current MC Drivers Licence**: Must have a valid multi-combination Drivers Licence
- **Refrigeration and General Freight experience**: Familiarity with transporting temperature-sensitive goods as well as general freight, ensuring compliance with all handling procedures
- **Accident Free**: A history of accident-free driving, showcasing responsibility and dedication to safety protocols on the road
- Understanding of applicable laws and regulations including load limitations and route planning for optimal efficiency
- Knowledge of fatigue management regulations to ensure driver well-being, including proper rest periods and monitoring driving hours.
- Previous Triple Road Train experience is essential for navigating and manoeuvring large combinations safely across various terrains
