About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for a Missile Technician to join our Nulka LOB based at Orchard Hills Defence Establishment-NSW, reporting to the NSF-S Site Team Lead.

You will be responsible for contributing to the completion of team tasks, meeting project key performance indicators (KPI's) and growing your own knowledge and experience.
As a vital member of the NSF-S team, the Missile Technician plays a key role in precision assembly, disassembly, and testing of Nulka systems, ensuring top notch professionalism, adherence to safety protocols, and timely documentation while contributing to the team's success and project KPI's.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance activities
- Under supervision, carry out the assembly and disassembly of weapons components using various jigs, fixtures and special tools.
- Under supervision, using various items of test equipment, carry out electrical tests, physical measurements etc.
- Assist as required for inwards acceptance testing and function screening activities of weapons components.
- Assist in material control activities such as preparing and kitting consumable items, preparation and staging configured items for production and maintenance activities, movement of explosive ordnance etc.
- Other tasks within the capabilities of the technician, as directed.

About YOU
- Maintenance Technician background with relevant experience in planned maintenance activities or similar/equivalent experience
- Inside the first 6 months of joining the team, be available for regular travel for training at Mulwala NSW initially two to four days a week once or twice a month reducing over the 6 months.
