**About the team**
The Workforce Inclusion and Experience Branch develops and leads a holistic inclusion and belonging strategy to support the NSW Public Sector to progress towards inclusive, safe and ethical workplace cultures. The Branch connects and collaborates with the sector towards the achievement of key diversity targets for a world-class public service that reflects the community we serve.

The Branch also uses data and other evidence to understand employee experience throughout the employee life cycle, sector performance and engagement. An annual program of work, including analysis of the People Matter Employee Survey and State of the Public Sector Report, provides opportunities to identify the drivers and barriers to a positive employee experience. This evidence contributes to strategic sector collaboration projects that address both positive employee experience and inclusion.

The Employee Experience team is responsible for providing insights and guidance on improving employee experience and engagement, based on research, data analysis and pilot initiatives. The team shares insights, as well as best practices, with the sector and works collaboratively to lift employee experience.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic collaborator to work on projects that equip our sector partners with resources to better use PMES results to improve employee experience.

**About the role**
As an Advisor, you will provide advice to agencies on public sector policies, programs, initiatives and issues, and contributes to the development of advice for the Commissioner.

We are looking for an individual who:

- Can develop and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including through user testing.
- Can work on projects that equip our sector partners with resources to improve employee experience.
- Has project management experience.
- Can work both independently and have a demonstrated capacity for effective teamwork.
- Stays motivated in challenging situations and can work in a fast paced, high volume environment.

Knowledge of employee experience, organisational culture and/or human resources would be an advantage.

**About the Public Service Commission**
The **NSW Public Service Commission (PSC)** is headed by an independent Public Service Commissioner and is a separate agency under the _Government Sector Employment Act 2013_ (GSE Act) that supports the Commissioner in exercising her functions and powers.

The PSC leads the design, development and implementation of the full range of workforce management strategies - including workforce capability, recruitment and assessment, performance management, and strategic workforce planning - to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the NSW public sector workforce.
