Piano Tutor

Hi, my name’s Rick and I set-up Footscray Piano Teachers roughly two years ago to provide music lessons with a creative focus in the inner-West of Melbourne. I currently have a high demand for new starters and am in need of a teacher to take on students in the new school year (early Feb 2025).

Own transport (bicycle or car) is essential as lessons will take place in students homes, although if you have your own studio lessons can be arranged there. Most current students are based in West Footscray, Footscray, Sunshine, Braybrook and Seddon.

The ability to teach more than one instrument is advantageous as well as experience in writing and producing music.

This role would suit a university student or established tutor looking to take on more students. The role may start off with a handful of students with the opportunity to grow your roster over time.

Hours are mainly weekday afternoons between 3:30-8pm and are flexible to your schedule. Weekend work may also be available.

**Requirements**:

- High level of proficiency on piano
- Ability to teach primary school aged students
- Own transport
- Creative approach to teaching
- AMEB Grade 6 and above or relevant tertiary qualification preferred but not essential
- ABN
- Current Working With Children Check.
