Correct Care Australasia is Australia's largest outsourced correctional healthcare provider. Operating across all of Victoria's 14 publicly managed prisons and one private prison, Correct Care provides primary healthcare services to in excess of 5,000 prisoners through a diverse and dispersed workforce of healthcare professionals across metropolitan and rural Victoria. Correctional settings provide a unique opportunity to address a range of health issues and to meet the health needs of a population that is normally hard to reach.

**The role**

**Part Time - 0.1 FTE (1 day per fortnight)**

Essential experience and attributes include the following
**(selection criteria)**:

- Tertiary Qualification in Health Promotion, Public Health or another suitable qualification
- Demonstrated experience in delivering health promotion programs or projects including reporting and evaluation.
- Demonstrates evidence based practice with an understanding of the social model of health
- Demonstrated knowledge of professional standards and legal and ethical requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment
- Awareness of chronic health care conditions
- Compliance with all requirements to work in custodial/correctional health environments as mandated by applicable State and Commonwealth public health laws or orders (however
described), including mandatory vaccination directions (however described), including but not limited to directions relating to COVID-19.
- Current driver’s licence.
