**Hotel Maintenance Supervisor**

**What your day will look like**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Take charge of maintaining the pristine condition of hotel suites, public areas, and the back of house. Your role will be integral in ensuring all physical aspects of the hotel not only meet but exceed our high standards of excellence.
- Develop, implement, and manage a robust preventative maintenance schedule for the entire hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and essential systems like HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. This proactive approach is key to minimising downtime and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Be the first line of response for any maintenance emergencies, demonstrating the ability to act swiftly and efficiently. Your ability to manage these situations with poise will ensure the safety and comfort of our guests and staff.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with contractors and suppliers to ensure the hotel has access to reliable 24-hour emergency services. Your negotiation and relationship-building skills will be vital in securing the best services for our needs.
- Conduct thorough monthly inspections and enforce rigorous safety standards within the maintenance department.
- With your hands-on approach, manage multiple tasks efficiently, demonstrating exceptional time management skills. Your flexibility to work weekends and adapt to the dynamic needs of the hotel is essential.
- Excel in communicating and engaging with both guests and team members. Your interpersonal skills will enhance the overall experience of our guests and foster a positive work environment.

**What we'd like to see**:

- Proven track record with at least 2 years of experience in a Hotel Maintenance role, preferably in a hospitality setting known for delivering quality.
- Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Exceptional organisational, and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.
- Availability for a flexible schedule including weekends, public holidays, and emergency situations as needed.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
- Own Transport - Preferably Ute or Van

**Salary**: $26.30 - $52.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
