Robertson’s Farmgate is a busy, vibrant florist, homewares and nursery who is looking for a motivated qualified florist / sales assistant who is enthusiastic, hardworking, reliable, well presented and organised to join our growing business located on the Surfcoast.

The position will include the following responsibilities:

- Floristry - made to order service and shop display
- Customer service in the shop for flowers and homewares enquires
- Wrapping, pricing, and preparing flowers and homewares for sale
- Daily management of flowers and ensuring best practice post-harvest care
- Stripping and cleaning flowers and foliage
- Picking, sorting and grading flowers and foliage grown on the property
- Fulfil and process store, website & phone orders
- Customer service including taking orders, providing advice & offering product knowledge.
- Quality control for all products
- Assist with management of stock
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety of work areas
- Other duties as directed

You will have qualifications and experience in:

- Fully qualified with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Passionate about floristry and plants
- Exceptional Floristry and plant knowledge, especially post-harvest care
- Visual merchandising of flowers
- Attention and eye for detail
- Ability to follow directions
- Be enthusiastic and willing to take on any task necessary
- Ability to work alone and in a team
- Enjoy working in a dynamic, fast paced and fun environment
- Possess a collaborative, mature and inclusive working style reflective of the organisation's values
- Experience in POS systems and stock control
- Highly motivated and excellent communication skills
- Hold a current Victorian Drivers License

The position is located in Mt Duneed and will be between 10-20 hours per week and will include Saturday work.

**Salary**: $26.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
