We currently have an exciting opportunity to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract as a Business Support Officer within our Maritime Sustainment line of business based at our Henderson shipyard in WA. This position reports into our Project Manager - Commercial Repairs who is responsible for overseeing the successful completion of projects for our Commercial customers.

**Your new role**:
The Business Support Officer is responsible for supporting the Commercial Repairs team with day to day administration tasks. In more specific terms you will:

- Be responsible for day-to-day organisation and prioritisation under mínimal supervision
- Undertake Project support administration tasks as directed
- Update Minor Service Agreements terms and conditions as directed
- Book and co-ordinate all travel arrangements for the team
- Sending bid information and specifics to contractors for tender
- Creating and issuing work orders for contractors and materials
- Collecting completion data for closure of work orders
- Preparing bid paperwork for sign off by commercial and procurement
- Co-ordinating cost control tasks such as progress claims and variations, ensuring appropriate documentation is up to date
- Advising the Project Manager or support team on matters requiring their attention and implement actions as directed
- Screening calls and provide appropriate responses in absence of Manager

- Computer literacy with advanced knowledge of MS Suite along with SharePoint & Oracle (desirable)
- Previous experience in a similar role

As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
