If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Duty Manager reporting in to the Licensee at our pub in Hornsby
**Responsibilities**:
**Team Leadership**:
- Supervise and motivate the front-of-house staff, ensuring a positive and energetic team atmosphere.
- Assist in staff training and development to maintain _and improve_ service standards.
**Customer Service**:
- Ensure exceptional customer service is consistently provided.
- Address customer concerns and feedback promptly and professionally.
**Operations Management**:
- Oversee daily pub operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor stock rotation.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement efficient processes including rostering, budgets and marketing activities.
**Quality Control**:
- Uphold quality standards for food and beverages.
- Monitor cleanliness and organisation to create an inviting atmosphere.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations.
