A full range of paediatric and adolescent health services are provided plus tertiary and quaternary care for the most critically ill and medically complex patients in Victoria. **The Role**:
This is a Permanent position at 80 hours per fortnight within the Parkville EMR.
You will be responsible for the design, build, testing, configuration, testing, installation, and support of the EMR Reporting and Billing workflows. You will have in depth experience and knowledge of the reporting and billing requirements across multiple workflows. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining training materials and workshops.
**What you’ll achieve**:
- Pro-actively build and maintain a good working relationship with business intelligence Directors, and local EMR teams to ensure the system configuration aligns with local requirements and strategic directions.
- Oversee sound governance and reporting build across the Parkville precinct, to ensure that all report builders develop consistent and high-quality analytic content.
- Assist with coordination of planning for system outages, upgrade, and system updates.
Classification for this position will range from A081 - AO85
**Your skills and experience**:
- A tertiary degree in Health or Computer Science or related field
- Epic certification and or equivalent experience - minimum of 2 years
- Minimum of 5 years hospital experience and/or EMR experience
- Previous experience managing a team.
- Previous experience working with large data sets, ETL and data warehouses.

The Parkville EMR is a digital partnership between The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH), Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (Peter Mac), The Royal Melbourne Health (RMH) and The Royal Women’s Hospital (RWH). The Parkville EMR team (employed by RCH) maintains, operates, and optimises the Parkville EMR Service for the benefit of all four health services.
