The Media and Content Creator is a role within Communications and Engagement Team and reports to the Senior Media Advisor. The role is responsible for a range of media and communications services and is accountable for developing a wide range of engaging content across digital and media platforms including social media, news media, website and video. This role is responsible for coordinating SA Housing Authority’s social media presence across a number of platforms and channels to support the Authority’s strategic plan and overall communications and engagement strategy.

The role contributes to the delivery of pro-active media strategies and opportunities, reactive and crisis media issues management and identification of agency media training needs. The role will also contribute to developing and implementing media policies and providing operational input into broader media, communications and engagement strategies and policies.

Content generation is key to this role and requires mobility across SA Housing Authority sites. Content includes podcasts, reels and videos as well as written material.

**Special Conditions**
- Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Clearance prior to being employed.

**Role Status**
Short term contract up 28 June 2024**.**

**Requirements**:
Desirable - Degree in journalism, communication, marketing or similar, or equivalent experience.

**Remuneration**
$84,522 - $94,003 (ASO5)
