- Excellent opportunity to work in conservation planning and make a significant contribution to both the Australian biological sciences, and emerging area of transdisciplinary environmental research.

To be successful you will need _(please refer to full selection criteria for each level)_

**Level A**
- PhD in conservation science, environmental biology, applied spatial sciences, or an equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated research ability that supports applied research in environmental decision making related to A/Prof Cassey’s ARC Industry Laureate Fellowship ‘Combatting Wildlife Crime and Preventing Environmental Harm’, particularly in conservation science and wildlife management _(Level A/B)_
- Record of research achievements as evidenced by publications and conference presentations
- Ability to teach effectively using evidence-based pedagogy that promotes student engagement

**Level B**
- PhD in conservation science, environmental biology, applied spatial sciences, or an equivalent qualification
- Strong track record of research achievements as evidenced by publications and conference presentations and demonstrated ability to win research funding
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and the delivery of high-quality student-centered teaching using evidence-based pedagogy that promotes student engagement
- Commitment to the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion, and ability to contribute to diversity of the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology community
- This position (Level A or B) requires a valid National Police Check.
