**About Us**

If you're looking to learn and expand your skills set and join one of the world’s oldest professions, this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for Our Heritage Stoneworks team are seeking **2 x** **Apprentice Stonemasons** to make a valuable contribution preserving the State’s heritage.

Stonemasonry is a craft that has been around since the start of human civilisation and has created some of the world’s most cherished buildings and monuments. Our specialist Government agency is focussed on the restoration and conservation of iconic sandstone buildings. The apprenticeship will be based in our Alexandria workshop, but there will also be site-based work and training at Miller TAFE.

In NSW, we have over 1,300 state-owned properties made from sandstone that require ongoing maintenance, including hospitals, court houses, schools and police stations. We are also involved in commercial projects.

**About You**

You will have a “hands on” approach, and a genuine passion and creative flair for this opportunity. You will have strong attention to detail, experience working with your hands and a willingness to learn all aspects of the trade.

**Essential Requirements**
- Have the capability to enrol and complete a stonemasonry trade apprenticeship.
- Willingness to travel to remote locations which may include overnight stays.
