The Change and Communications Manager is primarily responsible for managing change and communications associated with the upcoming Fleet Programs activity, being the EIS of the A220, A321XLR and A350 into the Group. This role provides expert change management advice and leads the change portfolio as well as being responsible for setting the internal communication strategic direction, in consultation with corporate comms, and delivery of communications in a dynamic, fast paced environment. You will work very closely with the relevant AOC holders, the Fleet Programs leadership team as well as other internal and external stakeholders.
You’ll have
- 10+ years’ experience in employee and stakeholder communications and/or change management roles.
- Aviation project experience preferred
- Degree qualifications in Change Management, Project Management, Business or Communication highly regarded
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategic business issues into effective communications within a large organisation
- Strong and confident stakeholder management ability
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
- Strong research skills with the ability to articulate this information
- Proven interpersonal and relationship development skills
- Ability to understand and translate strategic business issues into effective communications
- Broad knowledge of Qantas Group and the business unit cultural issues
- Aviation industry knowledge
