The Regulatory Compliance Specialist is critical to making this happen and will—

Support the Institutional Division in maintaining open and honest relationships with regulators in regulatory interactions.
Draft and sending correspondence to regulators, including responses to requests for information.
Identify and communicating about regulatory change, risks and compliance matters to Institutional Business Units and other Institutional Operational Risk & Compliance teams.
Identify global regulatory developments and advising on approaches to get ahead of those developments before introduction to home markets.
Seek out and make the most of opportunities to simplify and standardise our processes and the way we work.
Provide pragmatic and commercial risk management advisory services to Institutional Business Units and other Institutional Operational Risk & Compliance teams.
Identify and preparing relevant information for the inclusion in reporting, preparing this information in the required format and submitting it in a timely manner.
Identify relevant data sources to provide insights and opinions on existing and emerging risks.
Draw meaningful insights from identified data and assisting in the communication of these insights to Institutional Business Units and other Institutional Operational Risk & Compliance teams to uplift risk management maturity and/or improve control environment.The role of the Regulatory Compliance Manager is to play a leading role in the provision of 2nd line risk support to Institutional Business Units and other Institutional Operational Risk & Compliance teams. This involves:
Assisting in the management of regulatory relationships - Assisting in managing relationships between regulators and Institutional Business Units, with a particular focus on Markets
Identifying regulatory change and emerging regulatory risk - Identifying and monitoring relevant regulatory and industry change and providing compliance advice to assist the Institutional Division and other Institutional OR&C teams with the management of regulatory obligations, regulatory change and operational risk and compliance matters
Reporting - Preparing reporting for key stakeholders including leadership teams, Board and Management Committees, and the Boards of regulated entities operating within ANZ’s Institutional division.
Advisory services - Providing risk and compliance advisory services in the context of day to day business activities and / or specific projects and initiatives.
Providing insights - Identifying and using data to enable clear articulation of insights and opinions on existing and emerging risks and preparation of presentation packs and briefing notes for reporting to risk committees/forums.
