**About the Team**

Located at the Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence in Redbank, our engineering team support our Vehicle Systems division. You will support Configuration Management across a number of exciting projects. This is a rare chance to join a collaborative team of engineers, technical specialists and analysts.

**About the Role**

Partner with stakeholders to ensure the maintenance and accuracy of configuration information and to provide management and performance reporting.
- As the
- **Configuration Controller**
**,** you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:

- Maintain Configuration Management Plans;
- Implement and maintain Configuration Management procedures and processes;
- Create, perform and monitor Configuration Management deliverables including: Master Record Index, Configuration Status Accounting Report, Build State Certificates, Technical Information Management, Formats and Transfer Mechanisms;
- Produce Configuration Management reports;
- Plan and execute Configuration Management throughout the project lifecycle;
- Participate in design reviews and conduct Configuration Control Board/s;
- Establish, review, oversee and update the end to end Change Management release process;
- Conduct and report on Functional Configuration Audits and Physical Configuration Audits;
- Ensure data quality, compliance and consistency of data across business systems; and
- Consult and coach project teams.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

- Experience in Configuration management and Change management;
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Systems Engineering) or related discipline;
- Experience working with Configuration Management tools such as Teamcenter, SharePoint would be an advantage;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and PDM systems;
- Demonstrated experience in dealing with parts lists and drawings;
- Ability to influence stakeholders from different levels of the Organisation;
- Team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Ability to travel internationally and interstate, when required; and
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (must hold Australian Citizenship).
