**Security Technician**

We are a small business installing high end access control, CCTV, alarm and intercom systems servicing our customers all over Victoria and on occasion Australia. We seek a 'hands-on' energetic Security Service professional experienced with Security technologies. You will enjoy working in a team and alone. You will be responsible for installing, commissioning, handover and training of installations ranging from small at residential homes to very complex at multistorey buildings. You will draw on experience to coordinate stock and work closely with the Director to schedule and organise jobs, service existing equipment, and ensure jobs are completed in time and on budget. You will enjoy client liaison for service jobs and need to maintain a high level of customer service to meet our clients’ expectations. All jobs are managed via our service software and you will work closely with office staff to ensure documentation of sites and jobs are maintained and completed.

**Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications**

Skills required to fulfil the role:
Reporting to the Director, and working closely with staff of Brave Security, the successful applicant will need to be:

- Self-driven and able to work effectively unsupervised
- Professional conduct and appearance
- 3 plus years experience in Security installations
- An additional qualification in IT is desired
- A good communicator involving active listening
- Bringing a natural ability to work in teams and relate to people is essential
- Have a natural ability to solve problems, deliver excellent customer experiences and a technical mind set
- Strong interest in electronics with demonstrated knowledge and experience in security technology systems including but not limited to: Integrity, Tecom, Aiphone, DAS, Bosch and Crow systems
- Profound IT knowledge and interest to be able to design and program large CCTV installations and Access Control Systems
- Easily adapt to change, be willing to improve on a professional level, and be able to manage multiple tasks
- A strong work ethic, being well organised and well-presented are essential elements to be considered for this position

Current Licensing Requirements
- Victorian Security Installers License
- Cablers Licence
- Construction Red / White Card Victorian
- Victorian Drivers License
- Working with children's Licence (or eligibility to obtain)
