**Responsibilities**:
1. Operational Management:
- Oversee daily cafe operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, creating an inviting and comfortable atmosphere for customers.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed.
- Implement and enforce health and safety standards to guarantee a safe environment for customers and staff.
- Monitor food and beverage quality to maintain high standards.
2. Staff Management:
- Assist in recruitment, training, and supervising cafe staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Schedule shifts and manage staffing levels to meet customer demand.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff members.
- Address any employee issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner.
3. Customer Service:
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Implement initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience.
4. Financial Management:
- Monitor sales, expenses, and profitability, working to achieve financial targets.
- Prepare and analyse financial reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement cost-control measures without compromising quality.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Cafe Manager or in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic financial principles.
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
