Inventory Team Leader

**About the Role**:
We are currently looking for an energetic Team leader to Join our Inventory team at our Perth Distribution Centre, reporting to the Inventory Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Champion safety values and implement safety, health, and wellbeing policies to embed a safety-first culture.
- Develop and structure the inventory team to effectively manage inventory levels and meet inventory goals.
- Implement inventory control regimes and manage the cycle count/physical inventory process to ensure accuracy.
- Help develop analytics tools to analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), such as inventory turnover, order fulfilment rates, and on-time delivery metrics.
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement within the inventory team and the wider business, challenging current systems and processes.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting and documentation on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Support and maintain the SAP/WMS stock management system for the site.
- Ensure accurate stock control to deliver objectives and service level targets/budget.
- Investigate non-conforming processes and/or products.
- Ensuring credit processing and Vendor claims are actioned in line with API/Vendor policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including despatch and inbound and assembly to improve communications.
- Set clear goals and expectations for the team, monitoring progress and providing coaching and support as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Extensive experience in Inventory/Supply Chain operations.
- Strong planning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proven experience in inventory control management and team development/leadership.
- Proactively seeks continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in various computer programs, including advanced MS Excel for detailed data analysis is essential.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Takes initiative and provides complete follow-through on areas of responsibility/accountability.
- Able to be "hands-on" with an outcomes-focused attitude.
- Sound understanding of SAP/WMS System would be highly regarded
