Summary

General Responsibilities:
A Reservations Agent is responsible for reservations duties, via a daily/weekly checklist but is not limited to handling guest room reservation requests, providing guests with hotel facility information and answering questions relating to the hotel and local area, blocking rooms, entering group rooming lists and further completing group build/route details, posting prepayments, setting up and controlling Deposits, controlling Valid Stay-commission payments and any other additional duties pertaining to the day to day operations of the department.

Following up on open Medallia’s, by responding to these and ensuring positive closure while updating the GEM notes, Stay Comments, HotSoS follow up and spearheading the We Care tasks.

- Must possess strong typing skills
- Knowledge of Hyatt's reservation systems such as Opera, Envision, Onyx, HotSos, Medallia and Reserve next to Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills required. Refined verbal and written communication skills with great eye for detail.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, more languages are a plus.
- Schedule flexibility is required. Able to work a flexible schedule in other rooms areas
- a pleasant attitude and excellent phone etiquette are a must
- A person with high motivation, organization skills, and efficient time management
