Work in a role that connects your heart and mind - We are looking for an experienced Business & Community Development Officer to drive business and growth for our pilot program in Tasmania

**Would you like to**:

- Build and maintain relationships and partnerships with targeted community organisations and employers in line with developed Your Caring Way (YCW) business development strategy and approaches for Tasmania
- Attend community events, networks, and exhibitions to promote Your Caring Way and support lead generation for program intake targets and placement opportunities
- Provide information and training sessions on Carer Friendly Business training prospective employers/organisations to achieve program KPIs and outcomes and build carer friendly workplace.
- Developed by Carers Queensland, the Your Caring Way (YCW) Program is a tri-state, federally funded pilot program. Funded since 2020 and until December 2023, the YCW program is an innovative vocational service, designed to support carers to enter or re-enter the workforce by building carer capability through vocational coaching, training and placement and community capacity by establishing partnerships with local employers, community service providers and registered training providers.- This is a great opportunity for a high energy, self-starter person that enjoys the challenge of a Program which may go National and is prepared to go the extra-mile to make a difference and be a part of creating real opportunities for the people in our community.
