**We are looking for a Developmental Specialist to join our team of DEs**

Empowered Community Health and Wellbeing is a dedicated allied health and Disability service located in Adelaide, South Australia. We are based Mawson Lakes SA 5095 and provide support across the northern, eastern and western suburbs of Adelaide.

Empowered Community Health and Wellbeing was established in early 2023 by Sam and Serena through their joint passions of empowering individuals to become themselves through exploration of a holistic approach to overall health and wellbeing.

Our main focus has been improving the quality of life of our participants through equipping them with the tools to participate in their everyday life activities with confidence. To be able to establish and maintain healthy and successful relationships in all domains. And to understand and exercise their freedom and right to autonomy.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Advance the health and mental wellness of individuals with disabilities.
- Manage a comprehensive clinical caseload, involving strategy development, thorough assessment, and effective implementation of interventions tailored to participant goals.
- Collaborate effectively within a diverse and multidisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists, Art Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Speech Pathologists.
- Produce detailed reports and maintain precise and accurate client records, adhering strictly to the policies and procedures of Your Functional Therapy.
- Provide steadfast support and maintain open, clear lines of communication with family members or the broader support network of participants

**Key Selection Criteria**:

- Bachelor of Disability and Developmental Education (or equivalent)
- Membership of Developmental Educators Australia Incorporated (DEAI)
- Current and unrestricted Driver's License
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current SA Police Check
- Current First Aid certificate including CPR

**Remuneration**:
This position falls under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry (SCHADS) Level 3/Level 4. The salary and conditions will be in accordance with this award.
