Job Position: Bar Manager at Last One Inn Coastal Restaurant

Position Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the bar, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

2. Develop and implement bar policies and procedures to maintain a high standard of service and efficiency.

3. Create and maintain a welcoming and energetic atmosphere for guests, ensuring exceptional customer service at all times.

4. Train, motivate, and lead a team of bartenders and bar support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

5. Collaborate with the restaurant management team to develop and execute innovative bar menus, incorporating seasonal and local ingredients.

6. Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills, ensuring consistent quality across the bar operations.

7. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, bar supplies, and equipment, while minimising wastage and controlling costs.

8. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner, resolving any issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

9. Stay updated with industry trends and implement new techniques and concepts in the bar operations to enhance the overall guest experience.

10. Collaborate with other departments, such as kitchen and events, to ensure smooth coordination and seamless service delivery.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in bar management, preferably in a high-volume coastal restaurant or similar establishment.

2. Strong knowledge of beverage and mixology trends, including craft cocktails, wine, and craft beer.

3. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and staff.

5. Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.

6. Solid understanding of inventory management, cost control, and budgeting principles.

7. Proficient computer skills, including experience with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

8. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in the restaurant industry.

9. RSA ocertification in responsible alcohol service is required.

10. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for providing exceptional service.
