**What you will doAs our Correspondence Officer, you will**: - Lead and drive the correspondence network across Biosecurity Queensland (including style guides, communication and training), in line with departmental requirements by providing authoritative and expert advice to staff to drive a quality focused and detail driven environment. Provide final quality assurance of correspondence and documents into and out of the Office of the Deputy Director-General and Chief Biosecurity Officer. Facilitate the effective, efficient and timely liaison on correspondence including briefing material between Biosecurity Queensland and its stakeholders. Oversee the complaints information management process and provide advice on the administration of complaints to support Biosecurity Queensland's compliance with the department's Complaints Management Policy. Administer registers and items including e-tickets to ensure compliance with government requirements. Work collaboratively and develop and maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders to develop, implement and monitor the effectiveness of procedures for managing the flow of correspondence processes. Contribute to a whole-of-department culture of continuous business improvement to ensure Biosecurity Queensland's executive administration support systems and processes are contemporary 'best practice' and conform to departmental and legislative requirements.What you will bringEssential requirements: - While not mandatory, experience in the department's correspondence system (MECs) and the records management system (eDocs) or similar system, would be well regarded.Applications to remain current for 12 months.Job Ad Reference: QLD/474860/23Closing Date: Thursday, 16 March 2023This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License.
