Childcare Photographer

We welcome all professional photographers looking for additional income, persons with previous childcare experiences or parents & carers looking to earn extra income during the school terms.

If you have prior experience in working with children or a background in theatre, entertainment and you're someone who enjoys working with children in a dynamic, ever-changing environment, then this position might be perfect for you.

**Requirements, Skills & Qualifications**
- Experienced working with Children
- Familiarity with professional cameras and a working knowledge of your photographic equipment
- Punctual and reliable
- Strong communication skills with both adults & children
- A working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and/or Bridge.
- Have a driver's licence and a reliable vehicle
- You are available to be on location from 8am weekdays.
- A current ABN as well as a valid Working with Children Check

**The Role**

You’ll attend childcare centres on weekday mornings during school terms to photograph young children & their staff. Each child is photographed individually & with siblings (if they attend) in different poses within the centre environment using either Vinyl backdrops or the natural surrounds. You’ll be expected to maintain a positive workplace attitude working with children from Nursery & Toddlers up to Preschool age (0-6yrs). You may also be required to take group photos of the children and educators in their classes. Images from the morning session will then be selected and uploaded. As a member of our childcare photography team, you’ll work alongside other photographers and the centre staff to capture those little smiles and continue to maintain the great relationships we have with our childcare clients.

Through your own photography you’ll strive to deliver a consistent level of image quality and composition both our clients and their families associate with our brand.

- Being a child at heart is a bonus, but not essential._

**Job Types**: Subcontract, Casual

**Salary**: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends
- On call
- Rotating roster

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Central Coast NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Photography: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- Full Driver Licence (required)
