As the Policy Administration Team Leader, you are responsible to lead a team of Policy Administration Officers to achieve superior results, continually review processes and implement improvements to ensure that best practice is achieved.

You will develop the potential of a team and each individual within that team, this includes the provision of training on new products and services, in order to facilitate nib to be a leading-edge performer in the Health Insurance Industry.

This role supports the Manager - Policy Administration in the workflow, escalated issues and management of the Policy Administration Team, dealing with highly critical and time sensitive activities.

Furthermore, you will:
- Provide high quality customer service for the Policy Administration Team and for the wider business- Deal with a variety of stakeholders in identification of trends/opportunities for improvement- Support a high performance culture, by pro-actively addressing efficiency opportunities that reduce failure demand (re-work) and enhance customer experience- Develop Team Members through coaching, the provision of constructive feedback, counselling and recognition- Facilitate quality evaluations of individuals- Facilitate performance plans, performance reviews and development plans for team members- Identify staff training needs and ensure these are met, including the provision of training on new products and services

You consider yourself a motivated self-starter, with the ability to multi-task in a high-pressured environment coupled with attention to detail and accuracy will ensure you are well placed for success in this role.

Furthermore, you will have:
- Strong interpersonal skills in areas of leadership, team building, negotiation, communication and conflict resolution- Ability to monitor employee performance, develop and coach-
- Lateral thinker, able to focus “outside the square” in order to identify opportunities for improvement- Excellent written and verbal skills to deliver a high standard of customer service to both internal and external customers- Knowledge of the private health insurance industry (desirable)
