Stablehands, Horse Trainer

Danny Williams Racing ABN 15 609 869 196 in Goulburn, NSW is seeking:

- STABLEHANDS with experience in racing stables preferred but will consider others with some horse

handling experience such as clean boxes, do feeds and water, lead horses, rug, etc. CASUAL and FULL

TIME available based on above award.
AND THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS:

- HORSE TRAINER/TRACKWORK RIDER - FULL-TIME - ride and educate racehorses of all ages and levels

(with particular emphasis on riding pace/timed work and jump outs and barriers).
- HORSE TRAINER/FOREPERSON - FULL-TIME - train and educate horses on the ground, supervise

training plans, manage barns, horses and staff.

Salary will be in the range of $55,000.00 to $60,000.00 per annum plus Super depending upon level of

responsibility.
Essential Skills:

- A Certificate III or equivalent international qualification, or in the absence of qualification, a minimum of 3
years professional experience educating and training horses.
In addition, the following maybe required depending on the person's background:

- A minimum of 2 years’ full-time experience handling and educating thoroughbreds
- Knowledge and experience of horse training and handling methods specific to thoroughbred racing
- Proven ability to train and educate young horses
- Oral and written communication skills of a level to take instruction and provide information
- Ability to work in a team and independently (or proven management experience if the position is for

a foreperson role)
- Knowledge of safe operation of all equipment and use of personal protective equipment
- Proven as reliable workers with excellent horsemanship skills
- A Certificate III or equivalent international qualification
