Telecommunications Linesworker

Cable Layers Australia is a Civil Construction company specialising in the power and communications industries in Western Australia.

We are seeking experienced Telecommunications Trade Workers to join our team on a permanent full-time basis located in Cockburn Central.

**To be successful in these roles you will require the following;**
- Manual and machine excavation experience around critical services to install distribution cabling and conduit to Western Power Standards.
- Experience setting levels, conducting dig outs and landing equipment for transformer and switchgear pad mount sites.
- Assist with building team capability and providing and sharing technical knowledge and experience to others within the team.
- Deal with day-to-day technical issues that can arise, on site, relating to design and construction issues

To be Successful in the role, you but obtain or be willing to obtain the following;
- Current MR licence minimum. HC/HR truck licence - Desirable
- Construction Blue/White card, and current First Aid Certificate and CPR.
- Valid excavator ticket and recent VOC and other relevant plant tickets.
- Accreditation RIICCM202D Identify, Locate and Protect Underground Services highly desirable.
- Western Power NAC card and Cable Layers Ticket
- MUST be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and drug screen
- AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
