Apprentice (Electrical)

BMH Electrics Pty Ltd exists to maintain, install and assess electrical assets and equipment for a wide range of customers including land developers, power utilities, mining, display technologies and advertising as well as the domestic market.

The Apprentice is responsible for learning and developing practical skills, participating in classes and workshops on and offsite, observing all health and safety codes, as well as completing tests and assignments.

Apprentices should be well organised, flexible and willing to assist wherever possible. Apprentice's must have great time management skills and be willing to fit into the existing staff structure.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Attending workshops and participating in as many learning opportunities as possible.
- Assisting with the relevant department, but also learning about other aspects of the company.
- Observing health and safety procedures.
- Completing all tests, assignments and other required evaluations. Work towards achieving the competencies of the training plan.
- Positively receiving feedback.
- Keep a log of everything learned.

**SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/KPI's**

**Essential Criteria (mandatory)**
- Construction card (white card)
- Good time management and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
- A passion for learning
- Demonstrate positive HSEQ mentality and be proactive towards safety in the workplace

**Desirable Criteria**
- Valid driver's licence minimum class C
- High risk card - WP, DG, LF
- First aid and CPR
- Good physical strength and hand eye coordination
