**Full Job Description**

The role of a NDIS support worker is to assist people with disabilities in their daily lives and access to the community.

To access services and supports to help achieve goals and improve quality of life.

We are seeking mature applicants that have experience with stroke, autism or mental health, that are reliable, looking for approximately 4 - 5 hour shifts weekdays, 5 times a week, with an option to increase hours once you have built report and established yourself with our company.

You duties may include:
Domestic assistance: Helping with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and laundry.

Community access: Supporting individuals to participate in community activities such as social outings, shopping, and attending appointments.

Skill development: Assisting with the development of skills and knowledge to enable greater independence.

Behavioural support: Providing support and strategies to manage challenging behaviours.

Emotional support: Providing emotional support and guidance to individuals with disabilities and their families.

Health and wellbeing: Monitoring and assisting with the management of health and wellbeing needs such as medication management, exercise, and nutrition.

As an NDIS disability support worker, you will work closely with individuals with disabilities, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans that meet their specific needs and goals. You will also need to maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns or changes in a person's condition to the appropriate authorities.

Relevant experience and qualification required as we are a registered NDIS provider.
