**The Person**:

- Experienced bodybuilder/fabricator
- Accident damage repair experience
- Able to work without supervision
- Good written & verbal communication
- Ability to multi-task
- Physically fit with good hearing, vision, coordination and manual dexterity.
- Flexible and cooperative team attitude.
- Trade qualifications in Welding/Boilermaking (or equivalent experience).
- Passion for quality, excellence and continuous improvements.

**The Job**:

- Cut and weld materials and/or parts according to instructions.
- Sand, grind and clean all metal before the unit moves to the next section.
- Set up and operate hand and power tools.
- Inspect jobs, check them to the Job Package and fill in quality check sheets.
- Assist the supervisor to move parts and materials in and out of the area.
- Prepare surfaces to be coated by using various methods to remove grease, dirt and rust.
- Spray coatings of paint onto manufactured trailers and truck bodies to provide finished surfaces.
- Move items to baking areas for drying off the applied finished paint.
- Rub down painted items between coats.
- Touch up defective areas of painted items.
- Clean nozzles, containers and hoses of machines.
- Assist the Leading Hand in other functions as required.
