**The Opportunity**:
Partnered with our host **Trescal**, we are looking for an Instrumentation and Control Apprentice who is looking to work with calibration equipment and tools, while completing a **UEE31220 Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control**.

This position is full-time, and based in **Vermont **in Melbourne with regular travel required.

**Job Details**:
Trescal is the global independent expert in calibration services. Each year world leading companies active in the aerospace, automotive, pharmaceutical, chemical, energy, electronics and telecommunications sectors entrust Trescal with their calibration needs.

You will be mentored by industry professionals while completing a blend of on-the-job training and theory coursework.

Your duties will include:

- Provide calibration, fault finding, repairs and maintenance to Trescal’s electronic, pneumatic, mechanical and hydraulic instrumentation
- Plan and install new instrumentation as required by customers
- Maintain a high level of technical competency, ensuring that diagnosed and repaired instruments or systems can be returned to service with mínimal disruption to customer
- Take responsibility for tasks assigned to you and complete them within set timeframes. As you progress in your apprenticeship with more independence

**About You**:
You must have excellent communication skills, be eager to learn, have an interest in mechanical and electrical apparatus, be willing to travel, and work on customer sites.

You will be a team player who is able to follow procedures and instructions.

In addition to these qualities, you will:

- Have completed a minimum of year 10 with good results in English and Mathematics
- Have a driver's licence
- Be safety-minded
- Be well presented
- Have excellent listening skills and able to follow instructions
- Be flexible to perform jobs that may require overnight stays. Expenses will be covered by the company
- Have the ability to pass a Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screen, and Police Check
- Work safely
