**Job Description**:
**Our Family**:

- We are a young Australian family returning from living in London after 4 years. We have two young, very loved, very fun, warm and caring children within a supportive and energetic family environment. Attentive and fun parents who are after the best possible care for their girls while both work full time.

**Your Duties**:

- Responsibilities Child Care Provide attentive and high-quality care for the 7-year-old and 5-year-old girls. Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities to promote their physical, emotional, and intellectual development. Assist with homework and educational activities. Engage and encourage free play including imaginative and creative exploration. Safety and well-being Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times. Monitor their activities, provide first aid if necessary, and respond appropriately to any emergencies. Nutrition Encourage, prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for the children noting no dietary requirements Routine and Structure Establish and maintain a consistent daily routine that includes meals, free play, activities. Foster a sense of structure, consistency and responsibility through age-appropriate responsibilities and tasks Pre plan and proactively recommend school holiday programming with support from Amy and Nick Transportation Safely collect children to and from school, extra-curricular activities and play dates noting most will be within a 10-15km radius of home. Communication Maintain open and regular communication with Amy and Nick regarding the girl’s activities, achievements, and any concerns Help support and celebrate special events or noteworthy occasions (school plays through to birthdays) Light Housekeeping Perform light housekeeping related to the children such as folding and putting away laundry, tidying up play areas, purchasing and organising crafting, stationary and learning tools, washing dishes during the day as required. Behavioural Guidance Implement positive discipline techniques and reinforce appropriate behaviours. Foster a positive and respectful relationship with the girls. Flexibility Be flexible in adapting to the family’s needs and schedule. Accommodate occasional evening or weekend hours as required.
