**At Accounty, we provide exceptional bookkeeping and virtual CFO services to clients Australia wide. We treat each client’s business as our own and value the trust we build with our clients**.

We established in 2020 and due to a growing client base are now looking for an experienced and enthusiastic intermediate accountant / bookkeeper to join our close knit team.

This will be a full time role (1 FTE), with an opportunity to take on additional responsibilities. The role is onsite at our office in the heart of Adelaide CBD. Due to this **only applicants based in Adelaide, South Australia will be considered.**

**Your role**
- General bookkeeping duties
- End to end processing of accounts payable and receivable
- Updating and maintaining records
- Processing invoices and issuing payments
- End of month reporting and reconciliations
- Payroll processing
- BAS / IAS preparation
- Being able to consider and problem solve issues as they arise
- Assisting with client queries and administrative tasks as required

**What you bring to Accounty**

Be proactive and goal driven and have the following attributes:

- Accounting qualification with at least 2 years experience in a bookkeeping / accounting role
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to interact with clients
- Be hard working, reliable and willing to learn
- An ability to work independently and prioritise work effectively
- Tech Savvy and familiar with cloud software such as Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks
- Wanting to grow with us in the long run

Contract length: 6 -12 months depending on experience with a prospect for further extension

Full-time hours: 1 FTE (37.5 hours per week)

Expected Start Date: ASAP. Applicant must reside in Adelaide and have the right to work in Australia.

**Salary**: $50,000 - $55,000 (inclusive of super), based on experience
