**Your Team**

The Payments Services Utility team (PSU) is part of the Technology operating model that manages the end-to-end technology and operations for payments within the CBA group. This includes all real time, Domestic, International and Merchant payment services. PSU provides the direction, leadership and expertise to deliver exceptional customer experiences today and into the future. We enable payments to be easy, reliable, adaptable and secure.

The role sits in our Merchant Technology team. Your team will be responsible for the development, support and maintenance of the terminal fleet supporting the Merchants Business in maintaining our Card Present leadership position in the market. Our core activities are made up of change, compliance, and system ownership.

We work closely with service delivery and operations teams to ensure a leading and stable payments environments. Our team is built on the principles of Agile and we are looking for an individual who is interested in working in a team that has a collective responsibility for building a better future in for Payments with our internal stakeholders and for our business and individual customers.

**Your role**

Reporting to the Tech Crew Lead, you will be the Technical Product Owner of an Agile squad, where you will manage the strategic delivery of technology projects across our existing merchant terminal fleet.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Owns the product backlog through the pipeline to delivery from and CP perspective
- Works with the business product owner to prioritise the product backlog items
- Is responsible for the Technical Business Analysts in their product scrum team(s)
- Owns the sprint backlog on behalf of the business stakeholders and works with the Solution Delivery Managers, Project Managers and Scrum teams to plan for sprints
- Contributes to the preparation of (Inception) Business Cases
- Validates and accepts project requirements through inception and execution phases, from feature level to epics and user stories - confirming their readiness for execution an further elaboration
- Works with (project) BA and scrum Technical BA(s) to contextualise, decompose and continually refine the requirements (user stories) - to the definition of ‘ready’ for sprint planning.
- Will be responsible for confirming - with input from Tech BA, Dev and Test - the definition of ‘done’ for each story in each sprint in conjunction with the business product owner
- Accountable for working with the business product owner to prioritise and achieve Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for launch/implementation

**We are interested to hear from people who have**
- Knowledge about payment terminals:

- Key features/functionalities (e.g. knowledge about standalone and integrated terminals, familiar with EMV standards)
- Scheme certifications, PCI compliance, CPAT updates
- Transaction flows (i.e. screen/input flows including online/offline, reversals and advices processing)
- Transaction types (e.g. purchase, refund, cashout, pre-auth/completion)
- General knowledge about TMS
- Preferably knowledge about Linkly POS
- Financial Services Industry Experience
- In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
- Working knowledge of product development architecture
- Domain expertise across merchant payments technology/capability
- Experience managing senior stakeholders in a complex environment.
- Outcome focused with the ability to work with technical teams and drive outcomes
- Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen
- A Risk Management mindset
