**Description**

The Workforce Planning Advisor is responsible for providing strategic advice to the key stakeholders across DFR on workforce planning priorities and supporting the delivery of DFR's approach to workforce planning, considering the current state and strategically planning for the ADF's future recruiting priorities

**Your responsibilities will include the following**:

- Assist in the development and implementation of DFR's Workforce Planning framework, ensuring planning for the future recruiting priorities of the ADF is priority.
- Analyse and report on workforce data and trends that contribute to the development of DFR's workforce planning strategy, leveraging data and insights to provide advice to the Workforce Planning Manager.
- Partner with key stakeholders to provide insight on workforce data and provide recommendations for workforce strategies to address areas of priority for the services and ADF.
- Support Workforce Planning Manager in the delivery of a strategic approach to Workforce Planning across DFR.
- Coach and develop across the Workforce Planning team to enable exceptional approach to workforce planning.
- Utilise technology and analytical tools to develop, analyse and report on workforce data.
- Provide exceptional Workforce Planning advice to key stakeholders across DFR, leveraging data, insights, trends and deep knowledge of current and future priorities for the ADF.
- Develop and implement appropriate measurement and performance reporting for DFR's Workforce Planning strategy and initiatives/solutions.
- Work collaboratively with Senior Workforce Planning Analyst and Senior Workforce Planning Reporter to ensure a consistent approach to Workforce Planning for DFR.
- Build and maintain relationships with the services to understand strategic priorities and growth trajectories, understanding the impact on targets and required recruitment support to achieve this.
- Provide informed and accurate advice to the business on national target allocation approach to best support future priorities of the ADF.
- Monitor and review feedback from all key stakeholders, providing accurate responses in a reasonable timeframe.
- Develop, manage and maintain a high service level client relationship through the provision of services that meet or exceed the expectations of Defence and the DFR Adecco contract, further encouraging a strong and ongoing relationship between Adecco and the Department of Defence.

To be successful in this role, you will be first and foremost be a relationship builder. You will be a trusted advisor to the Defence People Group through your ability to effectively deliver insights and strategic advice that demonstrates a deep understanding of ADF workforce priorities.
