About the role

The CSSD Technician is responsible for the cleaning, assembly, inspection, wrapping and sterilisation of surgical instruments and medical equipment. The technician will ensure that the necessary equipment is readily available as required whilst adhering to necessary standards and legislation.

What you bring

**Essential**:
Proof of valid Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration
Certificate III in Sterilisation Services or willingness to attain
Effective communication skills
Commitment to continuing professional development
Commitment to enhancement of Calvary Healthcare’s Mission & Values

**Desirable**:
Previous experience in similar role
Understanding of current Australian Standard 4187
