As a Sandwich Hand Allrounder at My Avocado Cafe, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and enjoy mouthwatering avocado-inspired sandwiches. You'll be responsible for assisting in the preparation, assembly, and presentation of our signature sandwiches while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This position requires a dynamic individual with a passion for food, excellent multitasking skills, and a friendly demeanor.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and assemble a variety of avocado-based sandwiches according to cafe recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure all sandwich ingredients are fresh, properly portioned, and of the highest quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized sandwich station, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and communicating supply needs to management.
- Uphold strict food safety and hygiene standards at all times, including proper storage, handling, and labeling of perishable items.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders, answering questions, and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Follow cafe procedures for cash handling, including processing payments and accurately reconciling transactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall success of the cafe.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced cafe or restaurant environment. DON'T APPLY IF NO EXPERIENCE.
- Basic knowledge of food safety principles and practices.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude when interacting with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain attention to detail during peak business hours.
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A genuine passion for food and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $21.38 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 35 per week
