Bijl Nominees P/L/as Gentronics are 100% West Australian owned and operated. We currently supply mining, engineering, state and local government agencies, ship builders and construction companies, the farming community and retail.
the role : We are looking for a full time welder / Technician to join our dynamic team in Welshpool. You will be required to do weld testing of varius welding equipment and work in conjunction with our service technicians. You will need to be familiar with MIG, MMA, TIG, and Plasma machines.
Responsibilities and duties: Weld testing of all types of welding equipment.You will be required to weld test all machines to ensure proper operation of each part of the unit from mig welding or tig welding an MMA welding, plasma cutters and cnc tables also robotic welding machine set up and trouble shooting. Knowledge of laser welding and descaling /cutting would be a huge advantage, ensure each unit operates with in the correct parameters understanding the difference between inverter and transformer machines and how they work you will also be required to read schematics and diagnosing systems, fault finding and troubleshooting ensuring all faults are fixed and quickly resolved, completing scheduled services to ensure customer requirements and service agreements are up held and to ensure the safety of the customers equipment, daily workload management, deliver a professional level of service at all times, maintain an accurate service diary / time sheet record of works preformed.
qualifications and skills : Manual C class license, welding repair knowledge including technical knowledge.
salary range : $70,000 - $95,000
Pay: $33.65 - $45.67 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
