**What you will be doing**:
Prioritising competing demands of senior staff. The Administrative Officer Intensive Care Medicine is the first point of contact for the department which includes front desk reception and face to face/telephone enquiries. The job is a general secretarial position and would require assistance with reimbursements and TESL requirements and minuting meetings held within the department.

**Selection Criteria to be Addressed**:

- Demonstrated experience working in a previous administrative role in a busy and complex department with organizational skills required to set priorities, meet deadlines and monitor workflow.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision, use initiative and multitask whilst paying attention to detail.
- Experience preparing agendas and minuting meetings in a health care setting.
- Ability to maintain medical staff rostering in the Hospital system including recording of TESL, annual leave and conference leave.
- High level verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Word, and Outlook with an aptitude for learning new systems.
- Ability to be flexible in your work commitments and work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of purchasing and invoicing procedures such as iprocurement and iexpenses using electronic systems.
