Principal Team Leader

The Security and Network team within the Information Technology Branch (ITB) delivers a secure enterprise corporate network used by TMR. This high performing team works closely with multiple teams within the IT Branch, key stakeholders across the department and partners to deliver on TMR's key initiatives.
As the Principal Team Leader (Security & Network Services), some of your responsibilities will include: - Lead the team to deliver and manage the ICT data network and its performance including capacity, availability, operational issues and progress towards future architectural strategies. Lead the team to deliver and manage the operational ICT security requirements of the department through the use of tools and technologies to ensure continued operations and security of the departments ICT environment. Influence customers and project teams through change management initiatives, ensuring that professional and organisational standards are maintained. Ensure systems are managed to agreed levels of service and data integrity and provides appropriate information to specialists, users, and managers as required, while taking accountability for the installation, upgrading, and control of systems for ICT services and products.
Requirements of the role
- Demonstrated understanding of Information Technology environments, displaying a broad range of technical knowledge particularly in data networks and security. Proven track record of staff management and team leadership of various sizes and levels. Demonstrated understanding of ITIL practises.
