**Network Design and Integration Group**

The purpose of this Group is to deliver transport priorities through the development and delivery of an integrated pipeline of projects and support the Major Transport Infrastructure Program.

The Network Pipeline and Program Division lead and manage the forward transport pipeline and forward infrastructure programs. The team develop and advise on priorities for infrastructure investment to meet Government’s strategic objectives and deliver benefits to the community.

**About the Role**

Reporting to the Director, Road and Commonwealth Program, the Associate Director Road Program responsible for leading the development, prioritisation and sequencing of an integrated forward road program for Victoria covering metro and regional roads, major roads and road safety programs.

The position works together across DTP and its transport agencies to ensure integrated and complementary development and prioritisation of road programs and projects to respond to transport user and network needs and improve overall system performance.

The position is required to liaise and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders within DTP and the broader the transport and road safety sector, together with senior level internal and external parties, and provide advice and support to senior departmental leaders and transport ministers.

The role will require extensive input at a senior level into transport investment prioritisation policy, strategy, planning, business case development and management of complex projects and programs in a sensitive environment.

The role may also be required to perform other job-related duties to support the Network Pipeline and Program Division in delivering its business objectives.

**Qualifications and Experience**

**Desirable**
- A tertiary degree in the areas of economics, public policy, engineering, or other relevant discipline would be well regarded.

R**ole specific requirements**
- May involve evening or weekend work including occasional overnight travel.
