Pulse Staffing have partnered with a leading national private healthcare provider who is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse with Orthopaedics experience to take the next step in their career with this exciting Associate Nurse Unit Manager position.

**Your responsibilities will include the following**:

- Ensure continuous improvement of staff and enocurage a positive learning culture
- Build upon and deliver a consistently high standard of evidence based patient care
- Provide clinical operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management
- Be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial and material resources
- Coordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
- Undertaking direct patient care, as required

**What you will need**:

- Current AHPRA registration
- Current WWCC and police checks
- 3-5 years of demonstrated acute orthopaedic/surgical experience
- Current or previous ANUM or clinical nurse specialist experience will be highly regarded
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or similar
- Excellent communication skills and passionate about delivering high quality, evidence based care
- Time management and organisational skills
- Capable of motivating and managing people
- Strong computer skills
