**About the Role**

We are seeking a team player with a strong commitment to quality, safety and achieving high levels of productivity.

**Key responsibilities of this role include**:

- Examining, testing, equipment, instruments, and control systems to diagnose faults
- adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn and defective parts, maintaining machines, equipment and instruments
- reassembling, test operating and adjusting equipment and advising users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions
- Install, program, maintain and repair electronic equipment relevant to manufacture and supply of power wheelchairs: Servicing, repairing, calibrating, regulating, fine-tuning or testing machines, devices, and equipment.
- Install, program, assemble electrical components according to specification (order form) ensuring all features are provided as per the Order Form and or Job Instruction Form
- Read and interpret drawings
- Keep accurate records where applicable of all electronic components fitted and time taken for the service and repair as per the service sheet
- Fault find, test and repair electrical components ensuring they are in good working order prior to delivery
- Assemble product as directed to achieve high levels of quality to meet customer satisfaction expectations
- Control and maintain the storage of assembly stock within the designated work area
- Maintain the cleanliness and order of designated workshop in accordance with accepted standards and safety procedures
- Operate to ISO 9001 quality certification

**Skills and Experience**:

- 3 years’ electronics assembly experience and understanding of electrical circuits and testing within a Small Medium Enterprise (SME) manufacturing environment (desirable)
- Team player with a strong commitment to quality, safety and achieving high levels of productivity
- Ability to learn and develop technical and product knowledge
- Understanding of work processes and ability to read and follow procedures and work instructions
- Demonstrated safe use of electrical assembly hand and power tools
- Demonstrated experience in delivering excellent customer service in a quality certified environment
- Sound time management skills with a high attention to detail and focus, especially whilst undertaking repetitive tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels within an organization
- Basic computer and information technology skills
- Knowledge on IOT would be an added advantage.

**Desirable Qualifications**:

- Diploma of Electronics Engineering or 4-5 years electronics assembly experience or similar
- Certificate II or III in Engineering - Production Systems
- Electrical Trade Certificate

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
