Optical Assistant

Complete Vision Care is an independent optometry practice, established in 1995, located in O'Halloran Hill. We provide eyecare for adults and children and have a strong focus on behavioral optometry and vision therapy.

We are looking for an Optical Assistant to join our team and support our vision.

**THE ROLE**

As an Optical Assistant you are the front line contact for our clients. The role is suited to someone who has experience in Optical Dispensing, Retail and/or Medical Reception. Experience in working with children would also be highly valued. We require the ability to support our younger clients with appointments after school hours and some Saturday mornings.

**DUTIES**
- Ensure efficient flow of client journey through their entire experience from initial contact to providing services & products, on-going advice and care
- Customer focused - provide excellence in customer service by actively listening and problem solving
- Build and maintain a thorough knowledge of optical products and services
- There will be an opportunity to work regular hours which may progress to permanent part time capacity

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Previous experience in the optical industry desirable, however in-house training and support is provided including further courses in Vision Therapy for the right applicant
- Sound knowledge of Optomate would be beneficial
- MS Office and Canva experience
- Retail experience and interest in fashion
- Reception & administration experience
