NUV Petroleum is a multi-site operator with over 50 locations across Australia, mainly focused on delivering quality fuel and customer services with high quality standards.

This job is based at our Head Office in South Yarra, VIC. It is a part
- time position (3 days per week), with the potential to turn full-time after the 3 months probation period.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our operations team. Working under the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Collecting, interpreting and analyzing data
- Reporting and presenting the results to the stakeholders
- Identifying patterns and trends in data sets
- Detecting any possible fraudulent activity in sales and notifying the relevant teams
- Maintaining multiple Point of Sales(POS) systems
- Importing and maintaining price files for various products
- Implementation and maintaining fuel competition pricing management on all sites
- Implementation of plan of action for online food delivery platforms at all sites
- Consistent updating and tracking of all online food delivery accounts
- Maintaining daily, weekly & monthly reports analyzing both shop and fuel sales
- Various Ad Hoc duties as required by the business

Degrees in the following industries will be given preference:

- Mathematics
- Data Science
- Statistics
- Economics

Desired skills include:

- Experience in data models and reporting packages with excellent attention to detail
- Discretion as there will likely be sensitive information and figures discussed
- The ability to work to strict time constraints
- An organized and methodical approach to tasks
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately
- Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with excel sheets and POS data base management
- An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
- Ability to analyze large datasets and write comprehensive reports
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
