Seeking x2 Mechanical Designers to join a Boutique Consulting Engineering Firm
- Location: South Perth - Start Date: Immediate Start
- Salary: $100k-$120k + Super

CGC are working with a key client who pride themselves in being a trusted and respected boutique consulting engineering firm, with a proven track record in partnering with long-term top tier clients in the mining, industrial, utilities and oil & gas sectors across Australia.

Due to work loads and new opportunities they require passionate, client focused individuals that can best meet the current and future needs in the mechanical team.

Areas within the infrastructure sector you will be exposed to: Industrial/Mining, Water, Power/Renewable Energy, Infrastructure and Transport.

**Role Description - Mechanical Designer (INVENTOR)**
In this specialist role you will typically focus on brownfield engineering upgrade, optimisation, design and analysis projects for surface, potable and waste water filtration and treatment.

The role will also provide you with the opportunity to be client facing to develop solutions and opportunities

**Key Requirements/About you**:

- Minimum 2-5 years’ experience designing and documenting mechanical equipment, pressure vessels, tanks and piping within Western Australia
- **MUST have Experience using 3D software for design and drafting (Inventor) to produce drawings for fabrication**:

- Application and knowledge of relevant Australian Codes, Standards and Practices
- Ability to manage self and others, including timelines with expected date for deliverables.
- Willing to work in a small team of engineers, designers and drafters
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with excellent attention to detail and ability to check own work and that of others
- Self-motivated and can work unsupervised
